Stompeez Unusual Unicorn Animated Slippers {giveaway}

To be honest, I had never heard of Stompeez before a couple months ago. That’s when I first started seeing them up on shelves in stores and then I started seeing them advertised on tv. I had no idea that they were the craze of last holiday season and because they were a new brand, there was some manufacturing issues. Well! My 6 year old daughter received a pair of Unusual Unicorn’s to her liking and size. She thought they were so cute when she opened them and was super excited to put them on her feet. She had heard of them before, seen them on tv and could sing the song…made me realize how little tv I watch now-a-days.

The animated slippers are darling and of great quality, as they held up very well with the beating my daughter does to her shoes, not on purpose though – she just plays a lot. The fabric on the slippers is soft & comfy and the bottoms have a dot grippy texture so you don’t slip and fall. My daughter was able to get the slippers to be animated, as there is a soft air pillow in the slippers that activates the animation of the slippers by stepping on it within the slipper.

Because Sister had a pair of Stompeez, I had to go out and get a pair for my 4yo Son. Now he, had a harder time ‘activating’ the animation of the slippers, but his older sister showed him and now he’s a pro! Don’t get me wrong they work right away and work well, but he needed to learn the proper way of stomping  in, the slippers while on his fee.
