I will be provided Minted credit in exchange for this post. Opinions are my own.
My favorite time of the year is upon us. And while slowly but surely crossing off the must do’s & must have’s for the season, I’m hoping to spread some holiday cheer to my friends & family with our annual Christmas card of the kids. Notice I said of the kids, hubby and I aren’t too fond of ourselves the last couple years, so it’s been easy to just photograph the kids myself. Though secretly, I’d LOVE a family photo…it’s really the only thing I’d like for Christmas this year.
While browsing for the most perfect Christmas card to create, I found a few sites, but Minted lived up to the look I’m going for this year…once I actually take the kid’s photo. YES, YES, I know…way behind in that department. Have no fear! Minted has a ‘Find it Fast’ tool that I’ve already quickly practiced on with last year’s photos.
In addition, I can utilize Minted’s Envelope Addressing Assistant…sounds super fancy, huh?! I’ve never had an assistant before Minted will address your card envelope’s for free! So once you’ve placed your order and they have shipped to you, all you need to do is place a stamp on each envelope and mail them…wa-la!
Since I like to have 3 photos on my card, one of the kids and/or family and then one each of the kids individually, I’m limited on the card selection. Not to worry, there are plenty to choose from still, and most times I can’t choose. One of my favorites this year is ‘Joyful Type’ by Sarah Brown. I can choose the shape of the card, color, type of paper and if it’s folded or flat. Personally I’d go with a Flat, signature paper, rounded corners in Evergreen, add my beauties and I’m done! I can also change the back of the card to have a pattern or add more photos. With all this customization, don’t think twice that it ends there. You can even change the color of your envelopes & slip liner…I’m loving the idea of silver envelopes with a gold glitter liner
Use the Minted Address Assistant and the most (seemingly) stressful task is over. All the while designing your very own Family Christmas card in the comfort of your home in your pajamas…don’t judge
