My family and I aren’t super sports fans, but I do like a good excuse to try some new & fun foods! Even though my hubby isn’t a football fan, I did grow up watching it and so I always make it a point to watch the Super Bowl. For me it’s all about the food & commercials.
I’ve been extra motivated lately, to do more activities with the kids, since I’m slacking a bit lately. So this weekend, I’ll be creating a super fun, super kid friendly Mini-Super Bowl party. The kids will be able to help make the food, serve it and eat it….all things they like to do lately.
We recently received a sample can of Progresso Recipe Starters Cooking Sauce in the Creamy Roasted Garlic flavor with Chicken Stock. I’ll admit right now, I did not understand the need for the recent cooking sauce’s on the market. However, that quickly changed after receiving a can to try out.
I simply don’t have enough time in the day to get everything accomplished. At dinner time, I’m always looking for healthy, flavorful, quick & easy meals. The Recipe Starters, are just that…they give a great kick-start to my family’s meal time! I was in a pinch the other night, so I searched for some recipes ideas to use and found Easy Chicken Pot Pies.
When game day arrives, we’ll be serving more of the Easy Chicken Pot Pies, but mini size as appetizers. We’ll also be making Pulled Chicken Sandwiches, Bacon Macaroni & Cheese, along with some yummy dips & desserts. I can not wait to try more Progresso Recipe Starters and create more dishes with the family.
