As long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for Christmas time. For me it’s the magic, the fairy tale and escape from reality that I like. Christmas time is a great time to push aside your responsibilities (just kidding) and rejoice in this wonderful time of the year, to have an excuse to escape and be with your family.
I love the extra special activities that are had, acts of kindness and most of all the cards! Oh, the cards! As a child, I recall my Mom always beating everyone to the punch on sending out her Hallmark Christmas Cards. She was always ahead of the curve. Now, as a Mom, I too send out my Christmas cards, not as early as my Mom used to, but I have good intentions.
Whether your kids are yearning for this year’s newest toy, or hoping grandma and grandpa will make a surprise visit, Hallmark can help you tell them. Hallmark’s Interactive Greetings build the excitement of the season and let you share your holiday wish list with loved ones near and far.
Hallmark is now ahead of the curve! They’ve come out with a few really cool & new products that are interactive and fit in well with the changes in technology and generations. I had been seeing the new products from Hallmark in stores this holiday season, but recently we received some pretty cool ones to review.
Interactive Recordable Greetings: Record a personal message, and tell loved ones across the miles what they need to hear … your child’s wish list! Children can record their wish lists directly into this card to let Santa, grandma or someone else special know what they’d like to receive for Christmas. Fun for all ages, the Recordable Wish List card is especially perfect for little ones who aren’t yet able to write a wish list for Santa.
I was super excited to share the Interactive Greetings with our family, along with the assortment of additional boxed & Signature Collection greetings. The kids 2 favorites, were definitely the Interactive Greetings. We haven’t gotten into the yearly tradition of writing their lists of requests to Santa yet, so they enjoyed recording it to Santa. It is such a cute idea, that I wished was out years ago. I would have liked to have this keepsake for every year for Santa, so we could hear how they’ve grown over the years.
Interactive Countdown Greetings: Build the anticipation for Christmas Day with Hallmark’s new Interactive Countdown Greetings Hallmark. With the help of Mickey Mouse, or one of Santa’s friendly elves, these cards double as a holiday greeting and a functioning countdown clock. Display the card and watch the days and hours tick away, bringing you closer to the excitement of Christmas Day.
A VERY close favorite of the kids is also the Interactive Countdown Greeting. We didn’t have Christmas Countdown product of any kind and it was up to me or my husband to answer those daily questions. However, with the Interactive Countdown Greeting, now they look forward to coming home an checking the card to see how many days are left until Christmas. It was very simple to set up, especially with the quick directions attached.
I like all the items we received to review, however I have a favorite that is dear to my heart…the card with the layered wood ornament that was attached. For those family members that aren’t as close, but would like to send them something special, that is great gift to say “Hey, Have a great Christmas and here’s a beautiful ornament to add to your tree.” so they have something to think of you by.
The assortment of boxed & Signature Collection greetings were also adorable. For those we don’t send our photo cards to, they are a great addition to our yearly tradition of sending cards. There’s nothing better than receiving a card, especially a beautiful Hallmark one, to say ‘We are thinking of you & you are special’ during the holiday season.
