My kids are technology kids. The love anything that they can watch, interact with and be competitive with….and they are only 4 & (almost) 6! I do however limit their time and am going to learn to put parental controls on the iPad. They LOVE the iPad. Knowing that, I was recently given the opportunity to review Colorforms VERY first app, Colorforms Revolution.
A pop culture favorite, Colorforms was invented in 1951 and more than 1 billion of the vibrant vinyl playsets have been sold to date, with imaginative new styles continuing to captivate families worldwide. Recently, the Toy Industry Association recognized Colorforms as one of the Top 100 Toys of the Century and TIME magazine named it among its “All-TIME 100 Greatest Toys.”
WOW! All I can say is WOW! They have packed SO much fun into one app, for only $2.99!! The kids love putting together the fun & colorful puzzle boards and my daughter enjoys the hard version! My daughter is a creative type and anything to get her away from the messy projects…I just LOVE! The play sets are fun too, because they aren’t limited to where they can put a “sticker” and can make them bigger, smaller or rotate them.
The app is very simple for the kids to navigate and every time they finish a creation, they can save it to the gallery or go back and edit it. The “Go Wild!!” option is very fun to play with and they literally can GO WILD!! with playing a simple game here and there, and mix in some fun & silly sounds of different music. It’s like being your own DJ, while you play & get wild!
It’s not only for kids, but adults who want to be a kid too! My hubby and I enjoy this app, just as much as the kids do!
