I’ve been wanting to make a Diaper Cake for awhile AND when I found out my friend was pregnant – I HAD to make her a Diaper Cake! I never got one and always wanted one!
This maybe weird, but…when I was dreaming up how I wanted it to look – I *secretly* wanted to open an etsy store and sell them. Both with disposables and cloth diaper options.
Let me know what you think!! I like how it turned out (maybe next time I’ll make it bigger and play around more with it).
Ingredients: Pampers Swaddlers size 1 diapers (I didn’t count how many I used – but I bought a box and didn’t use them all – maybe one sleeve), Pampers Sensitive Refill wipes, legwarmers (baby legs), Just One Year Elephant lovey (topper), Boudreaux’s butt paste, Tiddliwinks receiving blankets, and some other things I won in blog giveaways. *BTW* I shopped off her registry – I’m a BIG lover of registry’s, since I only like to receive what I’m going to use – therefore, I like to do the same in return – PLUS I don’t like to waste money.
Sooooo…what I want to do is make custom diaper cakes according to expecting Mom’s registry’s or themes of rooms, etc.
Whatcha think? I know I need to tweek some things, but I’ll work on it!

I always wanted one too.I think this is too cute and using wanted items helps a bunch.The only thing I noticed is the middle bow looks a bit smaller then the others(may just be picture angle), but that is not a big deal.I would buy this one as is and I bet you could make some super cute ones for a shop.If you do open one post it so we will know where to go!
I love diaper cakes… I have made a few in the past. I only received 1 and it was from babiesrus during a raffle at the store. It was cute, but nothing but diapers, 1 stuffed animal, and sample rash cream. THis one is soo super cute! You did a great job.
