I love to think of creative ways to decorate my home. While I have all these great ideas to share, I have a problem with executing them. Mainly because of our budget or the lack there of. So I tend to lean on hand me downs, goodwill & thrift stores finds or don’t decorate at all. The ONE thing I do consistently when decorating my home and making it ours (even if it’s rented)…is photography.

I have a nice camera. I also had a friend that lived nearby that is a photographer. I just love photos! So when I was given the opportunity to review some 11×14 photo prints for my kiddos, I was excited to say the least! Not only do they not have anything hanging on their walls yet, but I’ve always wanted a name & quote print for each of the kids.

I worked closely with Life is Art Creations to get exactly what I was looking for and they delivered perfectly! I love the way they came out and how they look. I immediately scoured all the craft & frame stores to find the perfect frames. My son’s was easy to find but in the end I settled on my daughter’s, but I know I’ll eventually find another I like more.

The kids both love their name & quote prints. They think it’s neat that they have their names on their wall in their own rooms. (We recently moved and they now have their own rooms.)

About Life is Art Creations: My husband and I began this business adventure in 2010 while we were serving as houseparents at a children’s home.  All of our letter shots are our original prints from various locations or simple things in life.  My husband takes the bulk of our LIA photos, while I get in a few here and there.  I do all the editing and creating of our photo prints.  Nearly 2 years later I am now a stay at home mom with 4 little ones 5 and under.  Our hands are full, and our home is spilling over with love, sippy cups, laundry & of course, lots of diapers!  I love creating keepsakes for families to treasure and inspirational prints to encourage us when days are difficult.  The passion behind our photo art is very simple.  There is so much beauty in life that often times gets over looked because we a busy or just not paying attention.  The Bible says that God has made “all things beautiful”.  Why not seek it out and enjoy the good things in life.  Being a “stay at home mom” and educating my own children has been a lifelong dream of mine and I am so appreciative of my customers that help make this dream a reality!
