All I have to say is two words: SMART.Diaper…No joke!

So I’ve reviewed a few cloth diapers since starting my blog in July of last year – but I’ve NEVER tested a cloth diaper like this before. Seriously!

Don’t get me wrong the diapers I have reviewed in the past are GREAT and I have gone on to purchase more – with some I purchased too many and the results aren’t great. Any who…I’ve lived and learned.

I have tried this diaper in the day time and during naps AND at night time! Night time was my true test. There is only 1 (maybe 2) diapers that I have that I can TRULY count on to NOT leak at night (and I only have 1 of each). The Smartipants is being added to that list! This is a GREAT diaper all together.

So how did I test it at night? Well since cloth diapering I have learned to limit my son’s intake of liquid to at least an hour before bed – or else the diaper leaks. This isn’t a good thing, especially when we get home late sometimes and eat dinner late and well…I know I’m going to be getting a soaked little boy in the morning.

Sooooo I let him drink TONS of liquid before bed. The diaper came with one insert. A fairly thick, but not too thick insert. I snapped the diaper on him and hoped for dear life he wouldn’t wake up soaked. Well, guess what?! When I got him up after sleeping 9hrs – not soaked! The diaper did NOT leak. OKAY so I proceeded to keep the diaper on him for another 4hrs.

I was hoping his sweet soft skin would hold up.

Guess what?! Still NO leaking!! No Joke! It was VERY full – it wasn’t like he didn’t pee that whole time either. He did – alot!

Another thing I LOVE about this diaper, it’s trim – NOT bulky for the amount of liquid it holds.

How’s it work? It’s like any other pocket diaper EXCEPT you don’t have to pull out the pee soaked insert. When washing it comes out all by itself! YAY no more pee tip fingers!!
